Rolling Road Closures for Run in Stockport

20 Sep 2012
Due to a 10km run rolling road closures will be in place in Stockport on Sunday 23rd September.

The run will start at 10.00am from St Peters Square and will proceed south along the A6 before turning left into Nangreave Road, across Dialstone Lane into Hillcrest Road and onto Offerton Lane.

The route will then go into Curzon Road and through the Woodlands Estate into Vernon Park, up New Zealand Road across St Marys Way (via the footbridge) and back into the town centre along Newbridge Lane to the finish line in Mersey Square.

The route will be staffed by event marshals. Traffic will be held at major junctions whilst the runners pass through, so there will be some delays but at no one point is it expected to last more than 10 minutes.

The event, organised by Life Leisure, is expected to finish around 11.30am
