27th October 2014 - 16th February 2015: Dial Park Road, Offerton
 
Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footways in bitmac on Dial Park Road in Offerton. The work will be carried out by Stockport Council’s wholly owned company Solutions SK.
 
Work is anticipated to start on 27th October 2014 and should take up to sixteen weeks to complete, weather permitting. Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.


5th January - 2nd February: Lynton Road, Heaton Moor

Stockport Council will be resurfacing both the carriageway and footways on Lynton Road. This work will be carried out by our Alliance Partners George Cox & Sons Ltd and Lafarge/Tarmac.

The footway works which include kerb replacement using approved conservation kerbs will start on Monday 5th January 2015. The carriageway resurfacing works are scheduled to commence on the 23rd January 2015.

All works will be carried out between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm.


12th January - 2nd February: Rossall Drive, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Rossall Drive, Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner George Cox and Sons Ltd.


16th January - 20th February: Ladybridge Road, Cheadle Hulme

Contractors working on behalf of National Grid are renewing services on Ladybridge Road, Cheadle Hulme.

Temporary traffic signals will be required up to Thursday 29th January near the junction with Croft Lane.


19th January - 16th February: Headlands Road, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Headlands Road, Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner J. Cooney Ltd.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses. 


20th January - 6th February: Abney Road/Egerton Road North/Lawton Road/Brantwood Road/Silverdale Road - Heaton Chapel

Stockport Council is undertaking a programme of carriageway works as listed below:

  • Abney Road - Scheduled to commence on the 2nd February 2015 for 4-5 working days. A new kerb line and footway surfacing to rear of shops, will be carried out prior to the carriageway works and is programmed to commence on the 20th January 2015 for 6 days.
  • Egerton Road North (From Claremont Avenue to Heaton Moor Road) - Scheduled to commence on the 21st January 2015 for 5-6 days.
  • Lawton Road - Scheduled to commence on the 27th January 2015 for 5-6 days.
  • Brantwood Road - Scheduled to commence on the 29th January 2015 for 4-5 days.
  • Silverdale Road - Scheduled to commence on the 30th January 2015 for 4-5 days.

The above works will be carried out between 8.00am and 5.30pm. To carry out this work, it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements with a prohibition of driving (road closure) to minimise disruption and allow safe working operations to take place. The works will be carried out by our alliance partner Lafarge/Tarmac.


20th January - 10th February: Bodmin Drive, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Bodmin Drive,  Bramhall  (Full Length).  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner  J. Cooney Ltd.


21st - 27th January: Styal Road, Gatley

Contractors working on behalf of Electricity North West are carrying out a disconnection outside 105 Styal Road (near Firs Road), Gatley.

The work will require temporary traffic signals.


21st January - 18th February: Sandringham Road, Cheadle Hulme

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footways on Sandringham Road in Cheadle Hulme. The work will be carried out by Stockport Council’s wholly owned company Solutions SK.


23rd - 30th January: Clarence Road, Heaton Moor

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the full length of the carriageway on Clarence Road, Heaton Moor. This work will be carried out by our Alliance Partner Lafarge/Tarmac.

To carry out this work it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements with a prohibition of driving (road closure) for traffic between 8.00am and 4.30pm.


23rd January - 6th March: St James Road, Heaton Moor

Stockport Council will be reconstructing the footways on St James Road in Heaton Moor (full length). The work will be carried out by Stockport Council’s wholly owned company Solutions SK.


26th - 28th January: Lisburne Lane and Blackstone Road, Offerton

Contractors working on behalf of Bellway Homes will be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works on the following roads:-

  • Lisburne Lane, Offerton from the junction with Stainburne Road to the junction with Alfreton Road
  • Blackstone Road, Offerton from the junction with Lisburne Lane to the junction with Rishworth Close

These works require the above roads to be closed to traffic between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Access to properties in the working zone will be maintained where possible and a signed diversion route will be in place via Alfreton Road, Blackstone Road, Dial Park Road and Dialstone Lane.


26th - 30th January: Chester Road, Hazel Grove

Contractors working on behalf of Stockport Council will be undertaking drainage repairs on Chester Road, Hazel Grove between the junctions with Vaudrey Drive and Norbury Crescent. 

These works will require the use of temporary traffic signals, which will be manned during peak times.


26th January - 9th February: Damery Court, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Damery Court, Bramhall  (Full Length from Fir Road, adopted section only).  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner J. Cooney Ltd.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.


26th January - 23rd February: A6 Wellington Road North, Stockport

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Wellington Road North,(opposite Highbury Road to Crossley Road and Weybrook Road to Lloyd Road) Stockport.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner  J. Cooney Ltd.

The work will be carried out off between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.


26th January - 23rd February: Edgeley Road, Edgeley

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footways on Edgeley Road, Edgeley, from approximately the junction of Dale Street to the junction of Edgeley Fold (one side only). The work will be carried out by Stockport Council’s wholly owned company Solutions SK.
 
The work will involve the use of temporary traffic management measures at certain locations along this stretch to allow safe working for our operatives and highway users.

Access to properties and the library will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.


27th January - 9th February: Finney Lane, Heald Green

Contractors working on behalf of National Grid are renewing the services on Finney Lane, Heald Green between Green Gable Close and St Anns Road North.

Temporary traffic signals will be in operation up to the 6th February and will be manned at peak times.


29th January: Clifton Road, Heaton Moor

Contractors working on behalf of Stockport Council are currently carrying out drainage repairs on Clifton Road, Heaton Moor.

The work will require the use of temporary traffic signals at the junction of Clifton Road and Heaton Moor Road between 9.30am and 3.00pm.


29th January - 26th February: Carmenna Drive, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Carmenna  Drive,  Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner  J. Cooney Ltd.


30th January - 1st February: Marple Road, Offerton

Contractors working on behalf of British Telecom, will be replacing a frame and cover on Marple Road, Offerton near the junction with Bean Leach Road.
 
The work will require temporary traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Friday and 8.00am and 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.


30th January - 5th February: Lerryn Drive, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the full length of the footway on Lerryn Drive, Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner George Cox and Sons Ltd.


31st January - 13th February: Stockport Road West, Bredbury

Contractors working on behalf of Electricity North West will be installing a new supply on Stockport Road West, Bredbury at the rear of Arden Primary School.

The works will require temporary traffic signals from the 31st January to 4th February between 9.30am and 3.30pm.


31st January - 1st February and 7th February - 8th February: Macclesfield Road, Hazel Grove

Contractors working on behalf of the A6MARR scheme will be undertaking Trial Hole works on Macclesfield Road, Hazel Grove between the junction with Ashbourne Road and the borough boundary. 

These works will require the use of temporary two way signals.


1st February: Churchgate and Millgate, Stockport

Contractors working on behalf of Electricity North West will be undertaking reinstatement works on Churchgate at the junction with Harvey Street and Millgate at the junction with Market Place.

These works will require the use of stop and go boards between 8.00am and 10.00am.


2nd - 23rd February: Bradda Mount, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Bradda Mount, Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner J. Cooney Ltd.


2nd February - 2nd March: Laneside Drive, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the the footway on Laneside Drive, Bramhall.  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner George Cox and Sons Ltd. 


4th February - 4th March: Regent Close and Briarfield Road, Cheadle Hulme

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footways on Regent Close and Briarfield Road in Cheadle Hulme. The work will be carried out by Stockport Council’s wholly owned company Solutions SK.


5th - 15th February: St Albans Avenue/Holly Road/Peel Moat Road - Heaton Moor

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the carriageways as listed below:

  • St Albans Avenue - Scheduled to commence on the 5th February 2015 for 4-5 working days
  • Holly Road - Scheduled to commence on the 9th February 2015 for 4-5 working days
  • Peel Moat Road Phase 1 – From Buckingham Road to St James Road - Scheduled over 2 weekends 7th/8th February 2015 and 14th/15th February 2015.

The above works will be carried out between 8.00am and 5.30pm. To carry out this work, it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements with a prohibition of driving (road closure) to minimise disruption and allow safe working operations to take place. The works will be carried out by our alliance partner Lafarge/Tarmac.

To accommodate local properties/businesses, where possible we will maintain access to properties throughout but access may be restricted at certain periods as the work progresses.  


9th - 13th February: Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall

Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail will be carrying out brickwork repairs to the  railway bridge  on Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall (between Hartington Rd and Bramley Close).

The works will require temporary traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm.


15th February: Hollywood Way, Edgeley

Contractors working on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester will be carrying out works on the detector loops for the traffic signals at Hollywood Way, Edgeley between the junctions with Brinksway and Yew Street.

These works will require lane closures on both sides between the hours of 7.00am and 11.00am.



15th February: Didsbury Road, Heaton Mersey 

Contractors working on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester will be carrying out works on the detector loops for the traffic signals at Didsbury Road, Heaton Mersey at the junction with Green Lane.

These works will require a lane closure on the eastbound side between 8.00am and 10.00am.


16th February - 2nd March 2015: Bridge Lane, Bramhall

Stockport Council will be resurfacing the footway on Bridge Lane, Bramhall (even number side only, between Headlands Road and opposite Hillcrest Road).  The work will be carried out by our alliance partner J. Cooney Ltd.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.
