The latest roadworks information in Stockport is as follows:

19th February - 15th April: Junction of Sainsbury’s Car Park, Hazel Grove
Carriageway restrictions and temporary traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Mill Street, Peter Street and Sainsbury’s Car Park, Hazel Grove to undergo junction improvements.
20th - 24th February: Glossop Road, Marple Bridge
Two way temporary traffic signals will be in operation on Glossop Road at the junction with Cote Green Road, Marple Bridge to allow for footway reconstruction.
The traffic signals will be in use between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
20th - 25th February: Heaton Moor Road, Heaton Moor
Two way temporary traffic signals will be in operation on Heaton Moor Road at the junction with Hawthorne Grove, Heaton Moor to allow for telecoms mast work.
The traffic signals will be in use between 8am and 4pm.
20th February – 2nd March: Church Road, Gatley
Two way temporary traffic signals will be in operation on Church Road, Gately between Elm Road and Birch Road to allow for footway reconstruction.
The traffic signals will be in use between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
21st - 24th February: Hall Moss Lane, Bramhall
Two way temporary traffic signals will be in operation on Hall Moss Lane, Bramhall opposite the substation to allow for BT duct laying and chamber construction.
The traffic signals will be in use between 9am and 4pm.
1st March 2011: Stockport Road East, Bredbury
Temporary traffic signals and temporary footpath closure will be in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm at the railway bridge on Stockport Road East, Bredbury near to Weybourne Drive in order to carry out a bridge inspection.
8th December 2010 - 8th June 2012: Wellington Street, Town Centre
No left turn in Lower Hillgate from Wellington Street for Major rebuild/refurbishment work on The Peaches building.
Alternative Route - Piccadilly/Edward St/Middle Hillgate/Lower Hillgate.
