There are hundreds of ways to get active in Stockport!Government guidelines recommend that adults should do a minimum of 30 minutes moderate-intensity physical activity, five days a week. This can include any physical activity from cleaning to gardening to walking to work, anything that makes you a little warm and out of breath. At least three of the 30 minutes should include a sport or recreational activity. This can include recreational walking or cycling, a gym workout, team sport, jogging or any moderate intensity sport or recreational activity that raises your breathing rate.
