Silver Entrepreneurs
Business Support for the over 50's

A series of information and workshops sessions are now available in Stockport to inspire the over 50’s to start up in business or become self employed.

Following the success of last year's 'Silver Entrepreneurs' initiative in Stockport, the popular programme is being extended into 2009 to offer further free information and workshop sessions.

With over 20% of Stockport's population aged between 50 and 69 years old, more of the borough's older residents are taking the plunge into business and setting up their own company after a lifetime working for others.

The Silver Entrepreneurs scheme will be running new information and workshop sessions between 30th September 2008 and 31st March 2009 for Stockport residents, aged over 50, who have a business idea or would like to start up their own business.

Sessions will take place at Staircase House, 30 Market Place, Stockport SK1 1ES. Advance booking is essential.
